An email is by far the easiest way to tell people about what you have to offer. And if you are selling affiliate products, you don't even need a website or a blog. All you have to do is put your affiliate link in your email and when your readers click on the link, they will be taken to the product web page and if they buy, you will get a commission.

You can also use a blog to sell or display your products. You don't need your own website. All you need is a free account (available at www.blogger.com). Write your blog posting and use it to showcase your products. Using a free blog, you can sell anything from physical products to information products and even affiliate products.

Web pages are the final way to display and sell your products. A web page offers more flexibility than a blog, with more control over the final look. Before you sign up for web hosting, a domain name, and a website, there is one thing you should know.

Do you know what the MOST profitable web page known to man is? It is the single page web page (sometimes called the Sales Letter). Think about it. You go to the average web page and you are immediately bombarded with 20 different products and dozens of links that divert your attention.

A single-page site focuses on only one thing - your product. Use a single-page website to tell the customer what's in it for him. Talk about the benefits of your product. And don't add a bunch of links and buttons that distract your customers, taking them away from your product.

To buy, or not to buy - that is the question in the hearts and minds of your customers. If they are confused and distracted, they won't buy. Once they arrive on your product page, don't give them a reason to leave. Make it inviting, and give them a reason to buy.

When you begin looking at ways to make money at home, beware of scams. Be assured, they are out there. Some are easy to spot while others are not. As a rule, be sure there is an actual product to promote. Some programs I have seen claim the web site or back office is the product and then you are required to pay significant cash up front.

Online opportunities have simplified the opportunity to make money at home. A couple basic components and you are on your way! You need a product or service to sell, people who need that product/service, a way to sell the product/service and a way to deliver it painlessly and fast.

You can develop your own product or find one somewhere else and ask fore the right to sell it on the open market for a commission. An original product is obviously the best choice here. All the money from sales is yours. In this case, this is known as direct sales.

If you sell someone else's product, you will be paid a commission that could be as much as 75% in some instances. We call this affiliate marketing and it is one of several quick, easy ways to make money at home.

With either affiliate or direct sales, you have to search out people who desire your product/service. Your "market" can be pinpointed with some simple research. Use the research to build a list.

Getting to know your customers is called preselling. Your customers want to know that you can be trusted. Preselling helps you gain your customers trust. A single positive experience is a powerful thing. Once you have given them that positive experience, it is a sure bet that they will return and buy from you again.

A critical component of the sales process is the sales method. Now you have customers coming around, you need an easy way for them to purchase the product. You need a web site, a sales letter, and an email follow up system. A killer sales letter will sell the benefits of the product. Generating interest and prompting the customer to click the "Buy now" button is the focus here. You have to make them believe that they need, not just want but NEED, your product. An auto responder will manage all those emails you will receive. It will also keep you in constant contact with existing customers as well as nurturing new prospects continually.

Brainstorming is certainly nothing new. In fact, people have understood the benefits of these brainstorming sessions for many years. It gives us the added boost that we typically need to be able to overcome any difficulties that are caused by a creative mental block. The end product of our project is typically better, as well, as we are more focused on the task at hand. you might enjoy trying some of these brainstorming techniques that I have found effective in the past.

* Just Write it - Write something down, it doesn't matter what it is. Any thought that comes into your mind, put down on paper. This is one of the best ways to unclog a busy mind and get the ideas flowing again.

* List our Your Priorities - Having a list of the main points of your project will help you to see the basics of what needs to be done. Put the main points in bold and then categorize any sub-points in their proper order.

* Ask Yourself Some Questions - Try to get into the mind of the reader by asking yourself basic question about the project. These would include why, where, what, when and how. Use the answers to these questions to give you a starting point and a clear path to the end product.

* Set Limits - At times, you may find that you work better when you're under a little bit of pressure. Before going into a brainstorming session, set a limit on the amount of time that you will spend in that session. This will help you to get out of one mode and into another.

It doesn't matter if you are by yourself or working with a group. Brainstorming sessions will help to foster ideas that will grow with your project. It can help you to get started as well as encouraging projects that seem to be dead in the water to grow again.

There are many different types of brainstorming projects which are available to choose from. The ones that I have outlined here, however, are designed to help you to focus on the basics of the project and get something started. When you use these techniques effectively, it can help to move your projects in the right direction.

The Google AdSense program is an easy way to make money online. It's such a simple concept, really: embed or surround content with relevant text-based advertisements served up automatically by Google. Visitors who come to your site to read your content make you money whenever they click an ad. It's not difficult at all.

Implementing AdSense is trivial, it's literally cut-and-paste. Nor do you worry about choosing the ads you want displayed, Google does that automatically by reading the content of the page and selecting appropriate ads. It's so easy to get started with AdSense.

AdSense is a great content monetization program, but it depends on two things: content and traffic. You need both to make money with AdSense. Content is what attracts the visitors, and visitors are the ones who click the ads. No visitors, no money -- it's pretty easy to understand that!

Successful AdSense publishers have multiple sites. They build "networks" of AdSense sites. Individually, each site may only earn a few dollars per day, but collectively those dollars add up quite quickly. Even 200 sites earning only $1 per day each can make you $6000 a month, which for some people is the equivalent of a full-time salary.

Is it easy to build so many sites? No, it's kind of daunting. You need a lot of content. You need to find cut-rate web hosting and cheap domain names. You'll want tools to create the sites.

But there are tricks you can use to reduce the effort required to create your AdSense network. The first is to not go overboard with content creation: build small, focused sites and test the waters before committing a lot of time and effort into creating bigger, more comprehensive sites. The second is to encourage repeat visitation by enticing first-time visitors to sign up for a course or newsletter and get them to view other pages on the site as part of that course/newsletter. The third is to discreetly use affiliate links to promote related products. And the fourth is to interlink the content pages and to use standard (and simple) search engine optimization techniques to maximize free search engine traffic.

Your AdSense content network needs a proper business plan in order to thrive. Start small by attacking a variety of niches using the tricks mentioned above. Build on what you have, and in a few months you'll have a great AdSense business.

Do your customers trust you? If not, you can expect to be continually finding new customers, a task a lot more time consuming than selling to established customers who have bought from you before. For affiliate marketers, you don't want to rely on the product maker to take care of the customer. First, make sure your customers can contact you with questions and problems. Sure, the merchant will take most of the complaints, but if you have some insight into how a product works and can help a customer, you have now positioned yourself as trustworthy. And your future recommendations with be taken seriously.

Once a person begins the process of gathering information on the product you are selling, it should be easy for them to navigate your site, find links, read your reviews, etc. First time visitors will click away quickly if they get snagged in finding what they want.

If you have a site that is well thought out and easy to use, people feel more comfortable right away. And if they see that they can contact you by email or phone, then they realize they are buying from a real person. That also sets them at ease. To build on that trust, you have to then be responsive and helpful when you are contacted for more info or help. Consider adding a "About Us" page to your website so visitors get a better sense that they are dealing with a real person.

People also like to know that they are not the only ones who are buying from you. They want to know that others have had a good experience as your customer. One way to do this is to include testimonials. This can be difficult as an affiliate marketer, since you are selling other people's products, but the merchant may allow you to use some of their testimonials on the product on your own site.

Make yourself stand out from other affiliate marketers by giving more to your customers. Give them more information about the product. Show them a video on how to use it. Make the sales process easy. Be sure your customers can use their credit cards on a secure site.

Even though you are not going to be dealing with customer complaints, it doesn't hurt to have some type of customer guarantee that makes clients feel at ease. The online transactions are going to be impersonal, and if you can establish the trust upfront on your web site, more sales are sure to follow.

Developing trust with your customers means doing the right thing. And as in all of life, doing the right thing with people, even if it takes extra effort, will pay big dividends to your affiliate marketing business.

The truth is you can pick up any number of books like Napoleon Hill's classic "Think and Grow Rich" and learn the strategies to change your life around. In fact you can start today to become what you think. Eliminate all those negative thoughts and substitute positive ones.

Make yourself the promise that, starting today, you'll really start to believe in yourself and give yourself the chance you deserve to succeed. To give yourself the very best chance of success at whatever you want to do with yourself you must start with a plan. If you want to achieve your goals, you must know what those goals are and come up with a logical plan for achieving them. Makes sense, right? You can't possibly arrive at your destination if you don't know in advance what that destination is.

Once you've decided on your ultimate goal, your next step is to break that goal down into bite-sized chunks. Get into the habit of visualizing your goals on a daily basis - try ideally to carry out your visualization exercise at least twice a day. When visualizing try to include as many of your senses in the process as possible. The aim is to really feel what it will be like to achieve your dreams. You are trying to convince your subconscious that you have already made them happen.

Make this totally positive, don't let any negative thoughts intrude. Imagine people you know, friends and family and even complete strangers being very impressed with your achievements and congratulating you on them. Get into the habit of thinking and acting in the way that you believe a person who already has the success you crave would think and act.

Read about and think about positive thinking and the Law of Attraction as much as you possibly can. The more you can make this type of subject matter an integral part of your life, the more you'll be able to suppress your hitherto negative thought patterns and replace them with new positive ones. You're going to have to do some work on this but as long as you recognize that 'Rome wasn't built in a day' and work on it little and often, you'll soon start to see some impressive results.

Visualize with strong emotional feeling the glory of your success, even visualize eavesdropping on what others are saying about your success. Start this process today and stay healthy in body and mind as you progress positively to your goals.
