Don't be afraid to mention a negative aspect as well if needed, most products aren't perfect and people know that. By doing this, the reader will see your honesty, and will not feel as if you are just selling to them.
Only promote products that you have personally tried and tested, and that you really believe will help your readers; because if you promote even one junk product, your credibility can be severely compromised. A great thing about promoting a product you know well is that you can mention additional information or solutions that perhaps the product did not contain, and in turn you are making more subtle and natural recommendations.
